NYFW Photo Diary

This Fashion Week was unlike any other. It took a while to recover from backstage, runway, putting together campaign briefs, and even briefly skipping town in the middle of it all. It's been about six years or so that I've attended. Firstly as a journalist and runway photographer, then as a blogger, and most recently from the brand side.

Below are some photos from a shoot I did with Bene Rialto in Bryant Park a few days before FW began.

Our first show at work was with Adam Selman at Milk Studios.

After the Selman show my lovely friends at Open Haus Co x Milk Makeup hosted a dinner at Officina 1M.

Don't I look great here as a sweaty mess from backstage shooting all day. Yup.. yes.

Over the weekend I took a break and skipped out to Connecticut with Town & Country Magazine for a Polo match at the Greenwich Polo Club. It was so nice and refreshing to get away from the city in the middle of all the chaos.

This is a much better ~lewk~ Yup.. YASS!

A while back I went to New Jersey at Prudential Center to shoot Street League on pro practice day and to see the competition go down the next. It was bonkers. I've always followed SLS but never had a chance to go, much less photograph some of my favorite skaters.

The finals are coming up this weekend in Los Angeles on October 2nd - wish I could be there! You can watch the livestream at streetleague.com.

I shot this on the first day of Spring in NYC with Phil. Here I sit posting the outfit well after summer has passed and Fall is in full spring. See what I did there? Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. Follow along on my Instagram story - I posted today from Photoville and will be there again tomorrow!

Red Door Spa: Mint Julep Pedicure

Every time I visit the Red Door Spa by Elizabeth Arden at Union Square I walk away feeling so refreshed. Literally this time, as I got the Mint Julep Pedicure

When you arrive you're treated to a glass of wine or some cooling cucumber water. After changing into a cozy robe, you wait in a cozy lounge area until it's pamper time. What I love most about the Mint Julep Pedicure is the multi-step process. First, you get a salt scrub, followed by a massage with mint-julep and lavender shea butter. To soften the feet even further, a parrafin treatment is applied before your polish goes on.

I chose this neutral mauve-ish shade with gold sparkles by Essie. Thank you, Red Door Spa!
